Neil Bradford BIO
Neil Bradford, Director of Coaching
Neil, formerly with British Soccer Camps, is from Gloucester, England and graduated from the University
of Wales, College Newport with an BA (honors)
degree in Sports Coaching. During his youth, Neil was
involved with Bristol City Football club and played with the youth team up to the age of 18. After
finishing
with Bristol City, Neil went on to play semi-professional soccer with Caerleon and Chepstown in the Welsh
League and as Captain of the
University team. Most recently, Neil has gained his
NSCAA Premier Diploma,
Advanced National Diploma, National Diploma, National Youth Diploma,
FA Goal Keeping Leaders Award
and coached some of the best youngsters at Newport’s School of Excellence Academy. Neil moved to
America in 2001
to work with Challenger Sports/ British Soccer Camps, he has also actively coached in
the Cincinnati area. Most recently Neil earned his FA Goal Keeping
Leaders Award.
Neil is responsible for developing, implementing, directing and coordinating the SAY National Coaching curriculum. He develops the SAY Coaching Manual p
rovided in the team packets each season. Neil also publishes articles and other informational tools on our SAY Soccer website.
Neil’s primary focus is to coordinate, create and conduct SAY Soccer's coaching diploma structure for all SAYAreas and Districts. Neil is currently certified
to train the NSCAA State and Regional licensing courses.
