The 2019 SAY Annual General Meeting was held July 19-20th at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Lawrenceburg, Indiana. The two-day event featured reports from the National Board of Directors and the National Executive Director, informational sessions covering SAY Starters and social media, and a hospitality event for SAY members to network.
Three National Board positions were up for election at the meeting, which featured electronic voting for the first time. SAY would like to welcome Connie Murley (region 3, SAY North), Tim Zilz (region 2, NWISL), and Scotty Kober (at-large, SFYS) to the National Board. We would also like to recognize outgoing National Board members Ryan Sparks (region 3, SISAY), Mike Croy (region 2, NWISL), and John Hines (at-large, WCSA) for their service to the organization on a national level.
